Construction is moving apace at George Christopher! The focus of late has been shaping the various walls for the new plaza, planters, and ramps between the clubhouse and the playgrounds. You can see how the removal of several courses of concrete masonry unit blocks on the existing wall at the south edge of the plaza improves visibility from the clubhouse level to the playgrounds.
Speaking of playgrounds… our equipment has arrived! The stone and wood-like elements look great! There’s still footing work to do before installation, but it’s a relief to now have these custom long lead items on site. We anticipate that our new light posts—our other long lead item—will arrive next week.
The ADA restroom is now fully closed in, and installation of finishes will begin next week.
