On May 12, India Basin Waterfront Park project partners welcomed attendees from the Together Bay Area conference to India Basin Shoreline Park. More than 30 conference attendees learned about the rich history and culture of the Bayview-Hunters Point community, park construction and the project's Equitable Development Plan. The tour offered participants an understanding of how equitable development is being implemented as part of the project.
And as we near summer, we're also happy to report that construction is hitting its stride at 900 Innes. In the past month we've placed concrete on both piers and the food building. We look forward to continuing to add walls from there for these park features. In addition, we're currently working on the shoring plans for both Shipwright's Cottage and the park's maintenance building. We hope to move forward building these features this summer. Stay tuned for more updates and thanks for your ongoing support!
