Crocker Amazon Soccer Fields Project

Scope of WorkDiagram indicating the two phases of the Crocker Amazon construction

Synthetic turf was installed at Crocker Amazon Soccer Fields over ten years ago. This field is at the end of its useful life and is in need of replacement.

Construction will occur in two phases to allow for reduced soccer field access at any given time.

The project includes the following improvements:

  • Replacing field turf with new material that utilizes natural infill
  • Repairs and improvements to the perimeter fence and gates
  • Installation of new site furnishings including field goals and drinking fountains
  • Sidewalk accessibility improvements along Geneva Ave and accessible parking improvements at the Geneva Ave parking lot

The old turf will be shredded and recycled into new materials.

Additional fields remain available such as West Sunset Playground (soccer), Beach Chalet Fields (soccer), South Sunset Fields (soccer), Parkside Square (non-soccer) and McCoppin Square (non-soccer).
