Fillmore and Turk Mini ParkScope of Work

This 2012 Bond Community Opportunity Fund (COF) Project at Fillmore Turk Mini Park will revitalize the park with new landscaping, drainage, seating within the park.

Funding Source

The Fillmore Turk Mini Park community, under the new name of New Community Leadership Foundation, initiated improvements when they received a Community Opportunity Fund (COF) award of $330,000 for the park. COF is a program of the 2012 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond. In 2019, Supervisor Brown committed $100,000 from the General Fund towards the project. In 2020, SF Beautiful received a Community Challenge Grant award of $100,000. With additional funding from 2012 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond, General Fund, Open Space Funds and pro-bono design services from TS Studio, Landscape Architects this project budget is just over one million dollars.
