Youngblood Coleman Synthetic Turf Replacement

Completed and Open to the Public in January 2021! Youngblood Coleman Field


Background

Prior to this turf replacement project, it had been over ten years since the last time synthetic turf was installed at the Youngblood Coleman soccer field and the field was at the end of its useful life.

Scope of Work

Replaced turf, turf infill, and turf underlayment pads; drainage improvements; lighting improvements; improvements and repairs to the existing perimeter fence and gate systems; replaced select site furnishings.

Funding

Funding came from the Recreation and Parks Department General Fund and Playfields Fund.
