Since 1894 players of every age and ability have learned, played, and competed in an iconic location in Golden Gate Park. Billie Jean King, Rosie Casals, and Peanut Louie Harper played here. And today, kids from tots to teens come to work on what matters - a love of tennis, perseverance, and becoming a good sport. That’s the vision that fueled a re-designed, re-imagined Golden Gate Park Tennis Center.

The Tennis Coalition promoted San Francisco’s advantage for year-round public tennis by spearheading the renovation of the historic Golden Gate Park Tennis Center and strengthening San Francisco’s tennis community.

Visit the Tennis Coalition website for more information about the project.

Online court reservations can be made starting today at or by calling (415) 581-2540.
