Golden Gate Park - Stow Lake Perimeter Path Renovation

Opened to the public September 2023!Stow Lake construction paving - new paved path curving through wooded area

Scope of Work

Stow Lake is popular destination in Golden Gate Park for strolling, boating and picnicking. Before construction, the asphalt path that circles the perimeter of the lake had deteriorated and was in need of repair.

This project renovated the Stow Lake perimeter path and site furnishings, including benches and picnic tables to achieve ADA compliance. The construction was performed in two phases so half of the perimeter path was open at all times.
