South Sunset Clubhouse will be renovated beginning in late 2024 with a projected opening slated for the end of 2025. As we announced in our August update, we’ve brought on the architectural firms who will be designing the new clubhouse.
Since our last update, the project team met with the City’s disability access coordinator to ensure the renovation meets all accessibility requirements. We also met with the primary tenant in the building, Self-Help for the Elderly, to discuss their needs and day-to-day use. The architects have taken this preliminary feedback and are working now on the first draft of the design plans.
We will present this draft at a public open house at the Clubhouse in November. Please stay tuned for more meeting details.
South Sunset Clubhouse is 2,060 square-foot single-story clubhouse that includes a multi-purpose room, restrooms, a kitchen, and an office. Planned improvements include the reconfiguration and renovation of interior spaces in the clubhouse, access improvements, landscaping, and beautification.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
