As part of the Park Improvement Equity Action Initiative, SF Rec and Park is working with partner organization Success Centers to connect Fillmore community members with current and upcoming job opportunities. We have two scheduled events—May 22nd and July 27^th—and will be hosting a third in September or early October. Community members are encouraged to come meet employers, access resources, and get hired! Please help spread the word.

1. Wednesday, May 22, 11am – 3pm, May Day! at Gene Suttle Plaza

With an accompanied walk from and returning to Buchanan Street Mall, 11:30 – 1:30

See the fliers below. Over 20 employers will be present, including SFRPD. There will also be resources for application assistance and interview preparation, a raffle, and more!

To support community safety and access to these job opportunities, SFRPD and partners are providing an accompanied walk between the jobs fair and Buchanan Street Mall. Meet at The Opportunity Hub by the basketball court before 11:30am (Buchanan Mall, just south of Golden Gate). The walking group will spend about 90 minutes at the fair and return to Buchanan Street Mall by 1:30pm.

2. Saturday, July 27^th Kids Carnival and Jobs Fair at Buchanan Mall

Success Centers will be on hand to connect you with potential employers and share valuable information about training opportunities tied to the Buchanan Mall Equity Action Initiative. Meanwhile, Citizen Film and other community partners will be hosting a lively Kids Carnival, promising fun for the entire family. Mark your calendars and don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity!
