Gene Friend Recreation Center has been included as a project that would receive funding through the Health and Recovery General Obligation Bond, which is included on the November 2020 ballot. For more information, please click here. The project team is currently working to bring a design team on board to complete construction documents, pending passage of the bond. The team is also working to get as much information as possible about the existing site conditions, so that we may account for those with construction of the new rec center.
