Thank you to everyone who joined us for the third and final community meeting about the design for the Koshland Park Community Garden Renovation.
A clear theme that we heard from these meetings is that the redesign should prioritize creating a safer, more welcoming, and more accessible space for gardening, gathering, and learning at Koshland. The final design that we shared at the meeting this month is a reflection of these priorities.

This project will be heard for concept approval at Rec and Park’s Capital Committee on October 1, 2-4 PM. Members of the public are welcome to provide public comment.
We are grateful to all the neighbors and community gardeners who have taken the time to share their feedback to help shape the design and programming of the garden. Because of your support, the garden will continue to be a valuable hub for community food production, environmental education, and volunteerism.
