| McLaren Park Playground & Group Picnic Area | The proposed project includes restoring a children's playground at the Group Picnic site and removing the old sand areas. The new playground will be situated between the two picnic areas to capitalize on the park's hilly topography. A slide will descend from the top of the playground towards the central lawn. Natural elements such as boulders, timbers, and native plantings will be incorporated. A large net structure will climb the playground and allow children amazing views of the City. |

| Merced Heights Playground Lower Lawn Renovation | Currently, there are no formal programs at the multi-purpose field and the community bring their dogs for daily walk and run at the field. The Department is evaluating the implementation of amenities that would serve seniors and other users and is also considering the possibility of a delineated dog play area, depending on the availability of funds. |
