The tree work on Golden Gate Avenue near Rosa Parks Senior Center, originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, was postponed. We will keep you posted once a new date for this tree work has been determined.
Other project work is continuing at a good pace. The Memory Walk fences and site walls are taking shape, and last week, concrete was poured at the new performance stage being built between Fulton Street and McAllister Street.
Please be advised: The pedestrian routes going north-south around the construction area will be changing in the coming weeks. Please be alert and follow all posted signage and any directions from flaggers.
Project Manager Lauren Dietrich Chavez will be hosting office hours on Tuesday, February 10, 12-1pm at Rosa Parks Senior Center to talk about the project. Folks can come to office hours to ask questions and learn more about the upcoming pedestrian access changes.
