Construction at Kimbell Athletic Field Renovation is making good progress. Over the last several weeks, the contractor has been working to replace all the fence fabric and damaged posts, as well as completing all the upgraded drainage improvements.
Over the next few weeks, you will see the new synthetic turf being installed. This includes installing a new field pad, followed by turf fabric, and finally adding natural infill. All the old turf will be removed and recycled.
This project is part of the Park Playfield Repairs and Reconstruction Program.
