Construction to upgrade the crosswalks and curb ramps on JFK Promenade near the Conservatory of Flowers resumes this week.
Our contractor will begin at Conservatory Drive East before turning attention to the intersection at Pompeii Circle. All crosswalk and curb ramp work on JFK is expected to be completed by the end of February.
Bicyclists are advised to avoid Conservatory Drive East and Pompei Circle while construction is underway. Alternate routes north/south to JFK Promenade include Conservatory Drive West, which will not be impacted by this work.
JFK Promenade will remain open to pedestrians throughout construction. Expect intermittent street/sidewalk closures, pedestrian detours, construction noise, and construction vehicles on JFK Promenade. Please follow all posted signage and directions from flaggers.
