The park is taking shape! The contractor team is continuing to form and pour concrete for the network of paths within the park, and the plazas will be poured within the next couple of weeks. Preparation for planting is also underway, including fine grading, topsoil delivery, and soil testing, with planting to follow immediately thereafter.
Next month, Rec and Park will be taking a proposal for a simple donor recognition plaque to the Rec and Park Commission. The proposal is for a steel plaque to be affixed to a concrete seat wall at the entrance at 19th St and Minnesota, to recognize core partners UCSF and the Dogpatch-NW Potrero Hill Green Benefit District.
This will be presented to Commission on Thursday, August 15. There is opportunity for public comment. The hearing begins at 10 am. The agenda will be posted the week of August 15 here >>.
