We are happy to announce that construction for the Lake Merced Boat Dock is complete, and the site is open to the public. Construction fencing was removed on 9/16/21 and the new dock, boat ramp, seating area, and ADA parking stall are ready for use! A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 13th at 11:30am, more details to follow.
We are making great construction progress and nearing the finish line! The prefabricated dock and gangway were installed in late May, and the contractor is currently making minor adjustments before it is ready for use. Other ongoing site work includes irrigation testing, planting, signage, and fall protection fencing. We are hoping to have the site open to the public by mid-summer 2021.
