Thank you to Sup. Haney and neighbors for organizing the community meeting in early February. FYI on traffic impacts:
The contractor for Guy Place Park, may need to close a portion of the road in front of the park on Wednesday, February 19, from 10:00am-3:00pm. They will be pouring in the new sidewalk in front of the park. People beyond the park sidewalk will be able to exit in their vehicles.

Hi everyone-
We are making some good progress on-site and the contractor has installed the granite stone, which is a focal point in the new park. We are also busy planting trees and working on the new irrigation system. Next steps will include installing the metal columns and placing the boulders on-site.
For any questions or concerns please reach out to Alexis.Ward@sfgov.org.
Thanks!
Alexis

Construction progress has been intermittent over the past few weeks due to a unexpected conflict with street utilities in the area of the new bulb out. This issue affects both the Guy Place Mini Park project as well as the streetscape project, managed by San Francisco Public Works. Both project teams are working with PG&E to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. A normal pace of construction is anticipated to resume soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

A fourteen foot slab of granite arrived at Guy Place Mini Park this week. The contractor is currently preparing to install it in the rear corner of the park where it will serve as an ornamental focal point to the space. Granite paving and boulders as well as trees will be installed soon, so please stay tuned!
San Francisco Public Works also recently began a sewer replacement project on First Street that will extend to Guy Place and Lansing Streets. Thank you for your patience throughout these construction projects. We are looking forward to completing the park and opening it to the community later this year.
