Work is continuing on the trails in McLaren Park!
Our contractor has finished grading for accessibility at the ribbon trail on University Hill. They have installed several salvaged granite benches along the route to take advantage of the sweeping views over the grasslands, Louis Sutter Playground, downtown and the Bay. Picnic tables are being relocated and the new multi-use trail is now receiving Park Tread surfacing. We anticipate opening this area to the public by early September.
Our contractor is continuing work at the Upper Reservoir, installing new box steps, and landscaping north and east of the recently completed ADA parking and plaza area.
For your own safety, please continue to follow site signage and stay out of closed areas.
