We wanted to share a brief update on the Buena Vista Park Improvement Project since our last update in January.
The design team is assembled and engaged in early planning of the project. The scope of work includes repairing all paved pathways, as well as making improvements to the park’s drainage and stormwater management features to reduce erosion.
The project involves a historic preservation plan to protect historic gutters and retaining walls constructed under the 1940s Roosevelt-era Works Progress Administration (WPA).
Look for more information in the coming months as the designs for these improvements take shape.
