As part of the ongoing design process for the Jackson Playground Park project, soil sampling will take place on Thursday, June 26, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Expect short, intermittent closures and detours at various areas around the park while boreholes are being dug and while equipment is being transferred between sampling points.
Work involves collecting soil samples at various locations throughout the park using narrow boring tools. Workers will use specialized equipment to minimize noise and air quality impacts.
Our goal is to minimize any disruptions to park activities. This work should have no impact on permitted activities.
