The project team has been busy the first half of this year, finalizing drawings and specifications, and we are just about ready to put the project out for public bid under a Best Value contract.
Rec and Park is working to complete several workforce development elements, which have been shaped according to recommendations generated by the Fillmore Community via the Park Improvement Equity Action Initiative. We will share more details soon.

Carnival Block Party and Job Fair

Buchanan Mall, between McAllister and Turk St.
Success Centers will be hosting a JOB FAIR! Several employers including New Door Ventures, the United States Postal Service, Allied Universal Security, Pacific State Petroleum, and United Airlines will all be at the job fair, ready to hire. This is a fantastic opportunity to network and reconnect as we all start to prepare for fall routines.
To support the whole community, there will also be carnival food and games, KeshCares giveaways, free haircuts and more.
