The project team has completed the design development phase of the project and is working with the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) and three cost estimating teams to update the cost estimate and to complete constructability review and value engineering options.
Recreation and Parks and the Arts Commission are co-hosting an online meeting to share updates with community members on the latest facility design, project schedule, and draft public art plan.
We're excited to share updates about the brand-new Gene Friend Recreation Center facility that will be breaking ground by early 2024:
