Golden Gate Heights Playground Project Update March 26

Hi everyone- We have an exciting update on the Golden Gate Heights Playground & Renovation Project. Earlier this month, we received 5 bids from prospective contractors, and many of the bids were within budget! Thank you so much to those of you who have supported this project and participated in our meetings and surveys. We are currently reviewing the bids and we will move forward with awarding the contract to the lowest responsive bidder. This process may take more time than usual due to current restrictions, but we are still hopeful that construction can begin later this year. Construction will take approximately 8 months, and during that time, the upper field and the children’s playground will be closed to all public access. Please e-mail with questions!
