SAN FRANCISCO, CA – If you’re looking to beat the heat as summer temperatures soar, all public pools in San Francisco will be free and open to all on Wednesday, July 3, San Francisco Recreation and Park Department officials announced today.
All nine public pools will be open to anyone at no cost.
Highs in San Francisco are expected to be in the mid-80s on Wednesday and a heat advisory will be in effect, according to the National Weather Service.
“It’s important that residents, especially seniors and families with young children, know that there are resources to help them keep cool during excessive heat,” said Rec and Park General Manager Phil Ginsburg. “If the heat is getting to you, don’t sweat it. Our pools will be free for anyone looking to chill out on Wednesday.”
