Middle Lake Rehabilitation Project Update October 2022!

Rec Park Improvements: Golden Gate Park - Middle Lake Posted on October 20, 2022

The rehabilitation project received a low bid from Bauman Landscape and Construction Inc. which will be presented to the RP Commission for approval on 10/20. With approval from the Commission we plan to move forward with the tree removals (the first part of the project effort) by the end of October. Upon completion of the tree removals the general contractor will proceed with mobilization and demo, beginning what we anticipate being a year-long construction effort. The construction team will coordinate with permitted runs and other events throughout the year to minimize conflicts between the project and other happenings in Golden Gate Park. We are excited to begin work on this amazing project soon!
