The biggest event of the year is happening at Jerry Garcia Amphitheater this Saturday, and the McLaren Trails project is reopening the Upper Reservoir parking lot to accommodate the crowds.
The contractor has completed the ADA van parking space in the corner of the lot, complementing the newly restored sloping pathway down to the Upper Reservoir. Trail work and landscaping work will follow there later in August. Please continue to stay out of areas closed with fences and barricades.
We're also again posting a map to show a significant area closure where work is in process on University Hill, between Louis Sutter Playground and the tennis courts near Mansell. Please do not enter the closed area but follow the yellow paths that remain open.
