Twin Peaks Trail Improvement Project and Promenade Project | Construction update, October 2024

Rec Park Improvements | All Project Updates Posted on October 28, 2024

The trail renovation at Noe Peak is nearly complete! Our contractor, Cazadoro Construction, has nearly finished installing the box steps for both trails. Once that work is complete, they will focus on erosion control and revegetation at all project-disturbed areas, including spreading seeds for several species of plants that are native to Twin Peaks.

Please be advised – Both trails will be closed while under construction. Protection fencing has been erected on both sides of the trail to define the work corridor and protect natural habitat on either side.

Two other updates regarding upcoming Twin Peaks trail improvements:

1) We recently awarded a second Twin Peak’s trail work contract to Cazadoro Construction to renovate the trail to Crestline Drive. We have not yet set a start date for this work but anticipate it will begin soon.

2) The construction documents for the Twin Peaks Promenade are under thorough review to ensure compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This exciting project aims to transform the closed roadway into a vibrant linear park. We expect to open the project for construction bids in Spring 2025.

We will keep you updated as we move forward with these transformative projects at Twin Peaks.

Feel free to reach out with any questions.
