Richmond Playground | Construction update, June 2024

Rec Park Improvements | All Project Updates Posted on June 28, 2024

Construction is moving fast! Since our last update in May, we have installed the surfacing around the play structures, nearly completed all the planting in the landscapes, and we are currently installing the new fencing. Our big grizzly bear looks right at home in its new meadow!

Over the next few weeks, we will pour concrete for the accessible ramp at 18th Avenue, finish installing all the remaining plantings, and put the finishing touches on the newly accessible restrooms.

We are still on track to open the playground by the end of the summer. Stay tuned for more updates!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
