On November 11, 2023, over 100 San Francisco residents joined SF Recreation and Park department and the Friends of Jackson Park at a public community meeting in the historic Jackson Park Clubhouse. The organizations shared the plans and approved concept design for the renovation of Jackson Playground. To view the meeting presentation follow this link: (PDF).
The meeting provided a forum for feedback on the design, including the children’s play areas, as well as the renaming of the park. The project design team led by Fletcher Studio and Jackson Liles Architecture, gathered community input from the design workshop section of the meeting and will incorporate it into their drawings.
