The Giants Community Fund, in partnership with Rec and Park, is excited to host the third fall Baseball and Softball Academy. This free, eight-week program is based at the Crocker Amazon ball fields. It’s for players with prior baseball or softball experience who will enter middle or high school in the fall and want to try out for a team next season.
The Giants Community Fund, in partnership with Rec and Park, is excited to host the third fall Baseball and Softball Academy. This free, eight-week program is based at the Crocker Amazon ball fields. It’s for players with prior baseball or softball experience who will enter middle or high school in the fall and want to try out for a team next season.
The academy begins the week of September 20, with each team having one 30-minute practice prior to a 90-minute Saturday game. Additionally, the academy will feature guest speakers from within the Giants organization and from Major League Baseball who will impart their wisdom about the business and game of baseball.
