Women’s World Cup Live at Civic Center

Fresh off last summer’s wildly popular World Cup soccer broadcasts at Civic Center Plaza, San Francisco Recreation and Parks and America SCORES Bay Area are teaming up again to bring you live broadcasts of Women’s World Cup soccer action at Civic Center Plaza.

The viewings begin with a match-up between Team USA and Sweden on June 12th at 5PM with event activities starting at 4PM.  Other screenings include a Semifinal game on June 30th at 4PM and the World Cup Final on July 5th at 4PM.

San Franciscans will have the opportunity to watch the best women soccer players from around the globe battle it out to see who is the best in the world.  Along with watching the games on the big screen, fans will be able to get their faces painted in team colors, scrimmage on mini soccer courts and take part soccer skills activities provided by Soccer in Slow Motion.  There will be gourmet food trucks from Off the Grid and much more.
