Don’t have the time to get up to Oregon for the Solar Eclipse on August 21? Don’t worry, we have you covered!
Though we might not be getting a full solar eclipse in San Francisco, we are expecting to have substantial coverage! The eclipse is set to begin at 9:01 a.m. and continue to 11:37 a.m with peak coverage of the sun at 10:15 am. Many of San Francisco’s parks offer beautiful outdoor vantage points for the eclipse. Check out our list below and be sure to tag us on Facebook, Instagram (@sfrecpark) and Twitter (@RecParkSF) if you find yourselves watching the eclipse from any our parks! Don’t forget to utilize proper eyewear for this occurence!
