Join us on Friday, February 22 beginning at 10 a.m. as we hold an opening celebration and dedication for the Phil Arnold Trail (formerly the Oak Woodlands Trail). The newly renovated trail in the Oak Woodlands forest of Golden Gate Park will be dedicated in honor of Phil Arnold, a longtime advocate for parks, open space and recreational trail opportunities in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. Join this knowledgeable group of volunteers in restoring the native Oak Woodlands in Golden Gate Park. For more information you are welcome to contact Robert Bakewell at 415-710-9617or rcbakewell@gmail.com. Please wear closed toed shoes, long pants and layers. The event will occur rain or shine, barring high winds. Light refreshments provided. Meet the group at the bottom of the steps to the Conservatory of Flowers.
