Successful Organizing Meeting for New Golden Gate Park CommUNITY Garden

After tending their plots for some months, 40 of the 168 people assigned to the new Golden Gate Park CommUNITY Garden convened last week at the County Fair Building to review Rec and Park’s Community Gardens Program Policies, to get to know each other, and to begin to organize a volunteer leadership structure to continue to develop the garden.  Folks who attended the meeting as well as those who couldn’t make it were given the opportunity to contribute via an online survey.  See below for the presentation made at the meeting.
