SF Chronicle: Kids and Families Enjoy Eggstravaganza

“Children in pastel-colored clothes scampered through the green grass of Golden Gate Park’s Sharon Meadow Saturday, celebrating Easter a day early thanks to the city’s Recreation and Park Department. The youngest visitors had a chance to search for treat-filled eggs hidden behind thin trees, lush bushes and thick roots. Families decorated bunny bags at arts-and-crafts tents, while kids let out screams on the fun slide across the field, beneath the haze of smoke from freshly charred barbecue ribs.
