The November 12th Community Meeting to discuss Glen Canyon Park’s renovation is just around the corner! We hope you can join us to check out the park’s new design and share your preferences for new playground equipment!
Thanks to all for coming to the series of community meetings we had to identify top priorities for improvement to Glen Canyon Park. In the last meeting held this summer, we presented those items proposed for renovation with the Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond funds.
On Saturday, November 12, 2011, we are having a meeting to discuss the detailed design of these improvements. We will be discussing the areas of focus for this project, which include the areas around the park entrance at Elk Street, particularly the new playground.
Please join us as we would love to hear more from parents, kids, neighbors and everyone who uses and cares about the park about their preferences for the play equipment and the other related items. If good weather, we hope to be outside! We look forward to seeing you there!
