The League will run on Sundays starting January 8th, 2017 and will end by March 19, 2017. The are no games on Feb 19th (President’s Weekend). Click the link above for the formal schedule and standings from last season.
On Sunday after each game, please go (or have a team representative go) to the “2017 Scorekeeping” link (see the 2016 final from last season above) to access our Scorekeeping Google.Doc. We’ll use this information to update the standings each Monday morning. Here are the directions:
- Select the correct location from the bottom of the screen.
- Find your team’s game on the appropriate date.
- Enter your coach or team representative’s name in the cell next to your team’s name.
- Enter the the score.
- Enter any notes you’d like to include.
If you access the site and see the other coach has already entered the correct score, no further action is required. If you see that the other coach entered a score you disagree with, contact Nate or Tom right away at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Playoffs & Championships
All divisions will have post season games with the exception of the U5 – U8 divisions. These divisions will receive participation awards for all its players and coaches.
The top 4 teams in each division (U9 and older) will qualify for the playoffs. The semifinal games will be held on 3/12 at your regular gym, between 10:00 and 3:00. The winners of the semi-final games will play in the championship games on 3/19 at a site to be determined.
The standings will be updated each week on the main Schedule Page (above). The final four will be determined by your regular season record. In the event of a tie, we’ll go by head-to-head meetings, then point differential. A score-differential of 7 goals is in place for ALL games.
Gender: Boys or Girls (girls may choose to play on a boys team).
Age Groups: U5/U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18. Age cutoff is August 1, 2015. All players on the team must meet the age cutoff.
Skill Level: Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced
Our goal was to provide separate recreational, intermediate, and advanced divisions in each age group and gender. Based on the registrations in age group, we’ve combined some of the Recreational and Intermediate Divisions…and some of the Intermediate and Advanced Divisions.
Cost: $390.00 for U14 and young. $440 for U15 and older.
Do We Need Player Passes?
All players and coaches must have player passes. If a player has a CYSA Youth (or similar local soccer league) pass, they can use it. Otherwise players will need to obtain passes by bringing in a picture and original proof of DOB.
Adding Players: Contact Tom or Nate at email@example.com with all of the child’s pertinent information. You will also need to submit the CYSA player or coaches pass to have it checked. The league also lets you transfer players. For complete info on procedure please visit the link “Rules “.
Additions and deletions to the roster must be done in writing with the league coordinator and must be on file before a player is eligible to participate.
Participants may play only for one division and one team. Violation of this rule may result in forfeit from the league.
No addition of players or assistant coaches will be allowed to rosters after teams’ third scheduled league game. Teams have only until the Friday before their 3rd scheduled game to make changes to roster.
No guest players are allowed.
