2020 SFRPD All-City Jr. Warriors Basketball League
Beginning on Thursday, January 11th, 2020, at SFRPD Recreation Centers across the city, girl and boys teams, from Kindergarten to Middle School Divisions, will compete in our 13th Annual SFRPD All-City Jr. Warriors Youth Basketball League! Players will learn the proper fundamentals of team basketball, while competing with and against their friends, old and new, in a safe and nurturing environment.

There are two ways to participate in our Jr. Warriors program –
Co-ed Individuals Sign-ups : (Registration – 10/10/19 @ 10am!!) – $90

Independent Team Sign-ups : (Registration – 10/16/19 @ FILL OUT INTEREST FORM TO GET CONNECTED WHEN REGISTRATION STARTS!) – $475
We will be reaching out to set up an appointment to register your team. Please have your Coaches complete the background check and have your completed roster (at least 8, but no more than 12 players per team!) ready to email to us by 10/16/19.
Prior to submitting a team — Coaches are required to make an appointment for a background check and complete the code of conduct for this season.
Go to sfrecpark.org -> Click “support” -> Scroll down & click “volunteer program” -> Scroll down & click “recreation” -> Scroll down, print & fill out the Recreation Volunteer Application -> Go to the “appointment plus link” to set up an appointment. (You do not have to provide your SSN)The appointment will be at 501 Stanyan St. and will take just 15 minutes. Verification will be good for five years.
If you’ve already registered as a volunteer through the city within the last five years, you will not need to do it again.
All listed coaches on roster MUST (1) have a background check completed AND (2) turn in a signed copy of our (click here ->)2020 Jr. Warriors Code Of Conduct before the season to participate in the league. Below are the instructions to go through the background check:
Uniforms: “Jr. Warriors” Uniforms must be worn by all teams during games, though you can still have your own team name.

2020 Gamedays: Thursdays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays from 1/11/20 through 2/22/20. Playoffs 2/27/20 – 2/29/20.
NO PLAYOFFS FOR KINDERGARTEN TO 2ND GRADE!!
Time Practice Sites/Times will NOT be Provided: Unfortunately, due to the size of our league and the number of available gyms in San Francisco, and the fact that it’s held during Indoor Soccer season and the SFUSD middle school soccer season, we do not have the gym space to provide practice space for every team.
If your team does not have its own space for practice, please visit GYM RENTALS to see if there are any gyms available for rental. Gyms are only available for rental if space is open on Sundays and Mondays.
Please note: If you want to start practicing NOW through the end of 2019 then you should apply now. Otherwise, they are NOT accepting these applications until Wednesday, November 14, 2019, for practice space in January 2020 and on.
