POOL IS OPEN! – PROJECT COMPLETE

PROJECT SCOPE

The project included the renovation of the pool, pool building, the addition of an 800 square foot multi-purpose space, and site improvements to related amenities.

Project was completed and open to the public in February 2019.

Funding Source

The project was allocated $7 million from the 2012 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond.

DESCRIPTION

Balboa Park and Pool are located at 511 Havelock Street at San Jose at San Jose and Ocean Avenues. The approximately 1.1.million square foot park has multiple fields for soccer and baseball, tennis and basketball court’s, a children’s play area, skateboard park and a pool.
