Neighbors convened on June 29 for their monthly Saturday workday. The Juri Commoners are volunteers who care for Juri Commons, a park in the southwestern corner of San Francisco’s Mission District, built on the old railroad right-of-way between Guerrero Street, San Jose Avenue and 25th and 26th Streets. They work on the park one Saturday morning a month. Sharing conversation, coffee and pastries, they provide needed attention to a verdant pedestrian pathway.
