The project landscape architect has been working with the contractor’s nursery to secure all of the plants for the new park. The new trees, shrubs, and perennials are being cared for by a grower in the Central Valley until it is time to install them later this year. The planting palette emphasizes seasonal interest with plants that flower throughout the year, attract pollinators, and feature colorful fall foliage.
Heavy rain in the last few weeks has somewhat slowed down the pace of work. The contractor is working on the foots of the new park walls, which should be built soon.
