Join the Natural Resource Division at the Golden Gate Park Nursery for a fun morning of native plant propagation. Learn how to grow plants from locally wild-collected seeds, spores and cuttings. Become familiar with the plant’s life cycle from seedling to flowering and fruit-bearing. The plants you propagate will be planted this winter in our parks, natural areas and wildlife habitats. The event will occur rain or shine.

- Minimum volunteer age is 12 years old
- Volunteer tasks include plant propagation including sowing, transplanting and weeding
- Please wear close-toed shoes and appropriate clothing for physical work
- Tools and gloves will be provided
- Light snacks will be offered
- Meet at 100 Martin Luther King Jr Drive by 9:30 AM sharp, staff will then escort volunteers into the nursery compound for the duration of the event.
