Golden Gate Park 150th Anniversary Community Meeting

May 30 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Golden Gate Park Joey

Fresh from the 149th Birthday of Golden Gate Park, we are beginning plans for the Sesquicentennial, and we want your organization involved!

Please join the Recreation and Parks Department and the San Francisco Parks Alliance on Thursday, May 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Koret Auditorium of the Main Branch of the SF Public Library to learn about planning for the celebration of Golden Gate Park’s 150th Birthday.

Golden Gate Park is truly everybody’s park and as we plan for a year-long celebration including a community day on April 4, 2020, we invite partners from all over San Francisco to help celebrate this historic cultural, recreational and environmental resource.

Come learn a little more about the park’s history and impact and how you and your organization can be involved.  Please feel free to share this information with your partner organizations and community groups from across San Francisco as we hope to have 150 community groups and organizations celebrate this anniversary.
