White Crown Sparrow Habitat Restoration at the Bison Paddock

GGP Bison Paddock

Volunteer with the Audubon Society at the Bison Paddock of Golden Gate Park and help to restore the habitat of the endangered white crown sparrow.  Lend a hand with weeding and tending a garden of native plants that comprise a critical nesting area for the endangered sparrow.  Please wear appropriate attire: closed toed shoes, long pants and layers of clothing.  Light refreshments are provided.  Meet at John F Kennedy Drive between 36th Avenue and Chain of Lakes Drive East in front of the Bison Paddock.
