Potrero Hill Rec Center Gymnasium

Choose from an extensive menu of classes and programs at this welcoming community hub. Outdoors, enjoy the playground, baseball field, basketball court, dog play area, ball fields, two lighted tennis courts, picnic tables and BBQ grills. The lower play area was recently renovated and more improvements are coming soon. The Rec Center also has a gymnasium, stage and auditorium.

Facility FAQ

About the Facility:. Potrero Hills’ outside space includes a children’s playground, baseball/softball/soccer fields, two tennis courts, and a basketball court. The real treat is the beautiful view and the busy recreation center, complete with an auditorium and stage, computer room and gym.There are plenty of picnic tables for lunch, and enough space for your pooch to run around in the designated dog play area.

Renting the Facility: The auditorium is available for rental through our permits and reservations office. You can contact them by calling 415-831-6800.

Directions: The recreation center is located at 801 Arkansas Street and the cross streets are 22nd and 23rd Streets

Bus Routes:  10-Townsend (outbound/25th & Potrero) -- Arkansas and Madera Streets. The park is across the street from the bus stop.

10-Townsend (inbound/Jackson & Fillmore) -- Wisconsin and Madera Streets; walk east one short block east on Madera to Arkansas St., the park is across the street.
