Digi-U is a digital arts class created for a group of young adults who are part of the Community Access Training (CAT) program at Thurgood Marshal High School. The class was designed to give students an opportunity to explore different computer and internet software while developing different skills using digital equipment such as laptops and digital video cameras. So far students have made digital self-portraits, learned how to make stop motion animation videos, participated in a video scavenger hunt, and have created their own video shorts using open source animation programs.
