Construction wrapping up at the GGP Dog Training Area!

Capital Project Update

We are in the final phases of construction at the historic Golden Gate Park Dog Training Area. All of the site grading and drainage is completed, as is the electrical work to connect the irrigation timer to power source at the Senior Center. The large and small play areas are framed with the fence posts, final sand surfacing is in, stabilized pathways and concrete work are complete, and the parking lot was just paved. The base of drain rock at the synthetic turf areas is level and compacted and ready to receive the turf, which will be installed in the next couple of weeks. You’ll also see site furnishing, plantings, and the fence fabric and gates installed in November. We will reach out soon with a date to celebrate the park re-opening in early December!
