The $1,784,000 contract awarded to JDB & Sons Construction for Shoreview Park Renovation Project started construction on November 18, 2019 and is currently 45% complete. The original substantial completion date of June 14, 2020 is extended to October 30, 2020 per construction change order for fabrication and installation of play structures and time extension per COVID-19 impact from directives of Order of Health Officer of the City and County of San Francisco.
Work completed includes demolition of concrete playground and paved areas, site survey and layout, excavation for ADA ramp and lawn area, grading and surplus soils off haul. Trenching for electrical conduits and irrigation lines is currently in progress. Concrete pathways, ADA ramp and foundations for light poles are scheduled in the month of June.
