If you can survive walking some 22-miles back and forth between fields and stages, we commend you. On the other hand, if you’re someone who cannot survive without legitimate cell phone reception 24/7 to Instagram your experience every 10 seconds, we’re not sorry. I promise you it’s so much more memorable if you stay in the present moment. The scene is all too familiar: people in the crowd that are so caught up capturing moments to enjoy later, that they forget to be fully aware of what’s right in front of them.
Experiencing the Golden Gate Park for three days will give you a glimpse into what the Summer of Love was all about. And you don’t need your cell phone to find that out for yourself.
This social phenomenon is unlike any other festival, particularly if you adore San Francisco.
